As a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Marv understands the importance of honoring our veterans, the men and women who put their lives at risk for our freedom and safety. He sees the duty of that honor as sacred, and one he does not take lightly. Marv dedicated 20 years of his life to his country in the U.S. Navy, serving in naval intelligence and cryptology.
After his military service Marv founded a local Idaho nonprofit serving wounded and injured veterans. This organization has been recognized as "Best in Class" by the United Service Organization (USO).
Now Marv has dedicated his political career to helping veterans and first responders, through successful legislation. In fact, during his 12 year tenure at the Idaho Legislature, Marv has successfully sponsored more legislation to protect and advance the lives of Idaho veterans than any other legislator.
As Lt. Governor, Marv Hagedorn will continue fighting for those who fight to keep us safe.
